How It Works

In Person or Online Percussion Lessons

How much do Lessons Cost?

Tuition is $120 per month for 30-minute lessons, and $280 per month for 60-minute lessons.

Do I have to pay by the month?

No, but you receive a discount by paying by the month either through automatic draft or simply by paying monthly. If you choose to pay weekly, you miss out on the free 5th week on the months there is one. The Weekly Lessons Rate is $30 for a half-hour and $70 for a Full Hour

Do I have to pay for lessons if my student doesn't attend?

If you need to change your lessons due to other commitments (things going on with sports or other activities/interests, sickness, or inclement weather for in-person lessons) as always, I will try my best to accommodate you and find another time that works.

Do you teach lessons during Holidays, Summer Lessons and Spring Break?

Sometimes. If I am available. If it is not convenient for either myself or the parents, I give you the following options:

1. Make up the lesson on another week
2. Have a Zoom/Google Meet/ or Facetime Lesson
3. I can put together a video lesson for the student to review at their leisure and practice the material to ensure they stay caught up. I will provide video feedback or a video call if you have questions about the lesson. This is very effective especially during family vacations and the holiday season.

The key is communication so that we both can plan.

Suspend or Refuse Service: Missing 2 weeks in a row without notice and communication can be subject to removal from the schedule. I reserve the right to withhold services from any current prospective clients at any time.

Payments:  All payments are due on or before the prescribed lesson date. A 24-hour notice is needed to reschedule, if not a  payment still is due on or before the original lesson time. You may pay by automatic draft, either by the week or the month, to help alleviate this issue. I do accept Venmo, Paypal, and CashApp.

Teacher Absences: Please keep in mind that I might have occasional conflicts due to professional commitments or performances. On this occasion, if you pay by the lesson, you may wait until the make-up day to pay for the lesson. If you pay by draft and I cannot arrange a make-time, I will credit your account.

Student Absences: Please be respectful and considerate to your teacher when cancelling or rescheduling lessons and give as much notice as possible.  Good habits will give me more time to fit in make up lessons for other students that need make ups, just like you will need makeups as well.

Proper Notice is considered at least 24 hours. This will qualify for a Make-up lesson. If an absence is due to sickness or injury, I will not require a 24-hour notice but payment is still due and I will allow for a makeup lesson unless it becomes habitual.

Late Notice or No Call / No Show will unfortunately not qualify for a make-up lesson unless it is an extreme circumstance and this has not become habitual.
